Alumni Verification Portal Guide for SpringVerify Verifiers

How to Use the Alumni Verification Portal - Verifier Guide

A step-by-step guide for new employers (verifiers) on how to sign up, log in, search for candidate records, complete a verification, and download reports from the SpringVerify Alumni Portal.

1. What Is the Alumni Verification Portal?

The SpringVerify Alumni Verification Portal is a secure, web-based platform that allows organizations to verify the employment history of ex-employees (alumni). When a new employer initiates a background verification (BGV) for a candidate, they use this portal to retrieve and confirm the candidate's records from their previous employer.

The portal is accessed via a URL provided by your HR team. It is separate from the main SpringVerify client dashboard and is specifically designed for verifiers performing alumni employment checks.

Who is this for?
This guide is for new employers (verifiers) — companies that are hiring a candidate and need to confirm their previous employment by accessing the previous employer's alumni records through the portal.

TeamManage users from your organisation who have access to the portal.

6. Making a Payment

Each alumni verification requires a payment. After uploading the consent letter and checking the acknowledgement box, you will be directed to the payment step.

Payment Options
Use Wallet Balance
  • If your account has sufficient prepaid balance, select Use Valid Balance
  • The amount is deducted automatically
  • Faster — no additional steps required
Pay via Razorpay
  • Click Pay with Razorpay to generate a payment link
  • Complete payment using card, UPI, net banking, or wallet
  • Payment confirmation is shown on screen
Once payment is confirmed, the verification request is submitted. You will see a confirmation message and two options: start a new verification or go to your Records.

7. Viewing Records and Downloading Reports

After a verification is completed, you can view the record and download the verification report and invoice from the Records section.

1. Go to Records. From the post-payment confirmation screen, click Records. Or navigate to it anytime from the dashboard menu.
2. Find the candidate's record. The record shows the candidate name, previous company name, your company name (new employer), and the amount paid for the verification.
3. Download the report. Click View Report to open the verification report. The report can be downloaded as a PDF for your records.
4. Download the invoice. Click View Invoice to access the payment invoice for this verification. Download it for billing or reimbursement purposes.

8. Managing Your Wallet Balance

The Valid Balance section allows you to maintain a prepaid credit balance, which can be used instead of making individual Razorpay payments for each verification.

1. Click Valid Balance in the navigation menu.
2. Select a recharge amount. Pre-filled recharge amounts are displayed as quick-select buttons. Click any amount to proceed with recharging your balance.
3. View transaction history- All past transactions — recharges and deductions — are listed below the balance section for your reference.

9. Managing Your Team

The Team section lets you add colleagues from your organization to the portal so they can perform verifications on your company's behalf.

Adding a New Team Member
  • Full name
  • Designation
  • Role (access level)
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Fill in the required fields and click Add User. The new team member will receive an invitation to access the portal.
