Can I have Customized Recognitions for my Slack workspace?

Yes. Each organization has a unique culture and workforce, and the recognition system should also be unique. That’s why we’ve introduced Customizable Recognition Types. This feature allows you to tailor the recognition types to fit your company’s unique environment, fostering a deep sense of belonging and appreciation among employees.

Currently, we have four default recognition types
1. Kudos - Available for everyone

2. Shoutout - Available for everyone

3. Admin Kudos - Available only for Admins

4. Admin Shoutout - Available only for Admins

Additionally, you can customize the recognition types and even have unique names for each one. Here’s how it works

You can also specify who can send each type of recognition—whether it’s Admins, Managers, or All Users—ensuring that recognitions are versatile, meaningful, and properly assigned. E.g. You can create a recognition type as Manager Kudos or Manager Appreciation which can only be sent by respective managers of the team.
