Court Record Verification

Court Record Verification

What is Court Record Verification?

Court Record Verification checks whether any criminal or civil cases have been filed against a candidate in Indian courts. It helps you identify potential risks before making a hire and ensures the safety of your organisation and its stakeholders.

What courts are covered?

SpringVerify searches digitally available records across:

  • District Courts and Tribunals
  • High Courts across India
  • The Supreme Court of India
  • NCRDC Commission courts

All records publicly available on ecourts.gov.in are covered, irrespective of the time period.

What does SpringVerify look for?

  • Criminal cases
  • Civil cases and disputes
  • Orders of protection
  • Tax controversies and claims
  • Foreclosures and liens

Note on FIRs: FIRs are available only for select states. Availability depends on each state's privacy laws and whether that state mandates online filing of FIRs.

Documents required from the candidate

Court Verification uses the same documents as Address Verification:

  • Any government-issued ID proof: Driving License, Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or Ration Card
