Education Verification

Education Verification

What is Education Verification?

Education Verification confirms a candidate's academic qualifications — including their degree, institution, course, duration, and graduation status. It helps employers make informed hiring decisions by ensuring candidates have the credentials they claim.

Why should you conduct Education Verification?

  • Ensure the candidate holds the qualifications required for the role
  • Identify false or exaggerated academic credentials
  • Spot discrepancies in course names, graduation years, or institution details
  • Protect your organisation from liability arising from unqualified hires

What does SpringVerify verify?

  • Name of the institution
  • Course / degree and major
  • Duration of study (start and end dates)
  • Graduation / completion status

SpringVerify reaches out to educational institutions via physical visit, courier, email, or fax to validate the details provided by the candidate.

Documents required from the candidate

  • Degree Certificate
  • All semester mark sheets
