Employment Verification

Employment Verification

What is Employment Verification?

Employment Verification confirms a candidate's past work history — including their employer, designation, duration of employment, and reason for leaving. It helps you make confident hiring decisions by ensuring the details on a candidate's resume match reality.

Why should you conduct Employment Verification?

  • Reduce the risk of hiring candidates with false or exaggerated credentials
  • Confirm the candidate has the experience needed to perform in the role
  • Identify gaps in employment, incorrect job titles, or fabricated employers
  • Protect your organisation from potential liability

What does SpringVerify verify?

SpringVerify uses a combination of Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) and direct source verification to confirm:

  • Employer name and legitimacy
  • Designation / job title
  • Duration of employment (start and end dates)
  • Reason for leaving
  • Registration with statutory bodies (MCA/ROC, TAN, PF, etc.)

Documents required from the candidate

  • Experience Letter or Relieving Letter
