How do I bulk update user data for EngageWith on Slack?
🤔 Why should you update your user and organization data in EngageWith?
- Updating your organization's details in EngageWith offers numerous benefits. It enables the assignment of managers, departments, countries, and monthly allowances to users, ensuring they receive recognition allowances within the workspace.
- If you do not update this data, you will lose these benefits and won't be able to track departmental and managerial metrics. It will also enable point redemption based on users' locations, enhancing the overall EngageWith experience. Additionally, adding the data enables you to celebrate the work anniversaries and birthdays of the folks in your workspace.
Steps to bulk update user data:
- Open EngageWith Dashboard and Login with your Slack.
- Navigate to the Organization page.
- Click on Bulk Update.
- Download the Sample file from the pop-up.
- Fill in your details in the sample sheet without changing the formatting.
- Save the updated sample sheet and upload it back to the EngageWith Dashboard.
- Now upload the sheet and click on Next.
You are all set 🎉
Please note if the users are not present in the channel, you will see the below error stating: "An API error occurred: channel_not_found".
Please ensure to add the dates under DD/MM/YYYY format only.
