How to add a candidate on SpringVerify?

Adding candidates to SpringVerify is a simple and efficient process. Follow the steps below to add a candidate manually:

Step 1: Log into Your SpringVerify Account

  • Visit the SpringVerify platform and log in with your credentials.

  • Once logged in, you will be directed to the dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Add Candidate' Section

  • From the dashboard, locate and click on the ‘Add Candidate’ button, located at the top of the dashboard section for quick access.. This will open the candidate addition form.

Step 3: Upload the Candidate’s Resume

  • The first action you’ll need to take is uploading the candidate’s Resume.

  • Accepted file formats include PDF, .docx and .doc. Ensure the resume is updated and clearly named to reflect the candidate's name.

Step 4: Fill in Basic Candidate Information

  • After uploading the resume, the system will automatically read the resume and pre-fill the candidate’s basic detailsike:

    • Candidate Name

    • Mobile Number

    • Email Address

  • Complete the rest of the required fields:

    • UAN: Specify the candidate’s Universal Account Number (UAN), which is used for employment verification purposes.

    • Any additional information not captured from the resume must be manually entered.

    • Consent: Indicate whether the candidate has provided consent for background verification.

    • Category: Choose the appropriate category from the dropdown, which could be based on department or employment type. You can also create your own Categories.

    • Tag: Use relevant tags to help organize and track the candidate (e.g., Tech, Sales, HR). You can also create your own Tags.

  • Specify "Who will fill the BGV form?"

    • Select whether the candidate will fill the form themselves or if it will be completed by the HR/team.

  • Once you have uploaded all the details, click on Continue

Step 5: Select the Background Verification Package

  • Choose the relevant background verification package depending on your company’s requirements.

Step 6: Review and Submit

  • After selecting the background verification package, you will be directed to a page where you can review the package details.

  • You also have the option to add any additional checks (add-ons) to the package, such as:

    • World Check

    • Drug (5 Panel) Check

  • After reviewing and adjusting the package and add-ons, you can proceed by clicking on the ‘Add Candidate’ button to finalize the submission.

Step 7: Confirmation of Successful Submission

  • After submission, you will see a success pop-up notification confirming that the BGV link has been sent to the candidate.


Additional Tips:

  • Ensure all candidate information is accurate to avoid delays in the verification process.

  • Keep documents in a standard format and size for smooth uploading.

  • You can always revisit the candidate profile to edit or update information if needed.
