Integration of SpringVerify with Personio

Overview:

SpringVerify IN has developed integrations with Personio, enabling clients to use the API key and API base URL from the Personio platform. This integration facilitates a streamlined and automated approach to conducting the background verification processes within the Personio environment.

Note: Data will be fetched from Personio within 10 minutes to initiate background verification.


Steps to Generate API Credentials for Your Personio Account:

  • Log into your Personio account.

  • Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API Credentials.

  • Click on ‘Generate New Credential’ at the top right of the screen.

  • Then ‘Add New Credential’ drawer will appear.

  • In the Name field, enter a meaningful name for the credentials.

  • Use the checkboxes to define the desired access levels.

  • Click on ‘Generate New Credential’ to create the API credentials (client ID and secret). A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the credentials have been successfully created.



Steps to Integrate Personio with SpringVerify IN:


  1. Visit the SpringVerify IN integration page by navigating to the following URL - https://portal.in.springverify.com/integrations. Here, clients can view all available integrations along with the steps required for each.

  1. Locate the Personio card and proceed to open it.



  1. Personio Integration

4a. If the company has one subtype:

  • Enter the Client ID and Client Secret in the designated fields, then click 'Connect' to establish the integration.

             

  • The user will receive the message ‘Successfully connected’.

4b. If the company has multiple subtypes assigned, a modal pops up.


To deactivate the Personio integration: 


Click on the ‘Disconnect’ button, and the integration will be successfully deactivated.
