Overview

SpringVerify IN integrates seamlessly with Zenefits, allowing clients to connect using their Zenefits API key.

This integration enables HR teams to:

  • Automate background verification (BGV) directly within the Zenefits environment

  • Eliminate manual steps, saving time and effort

  • Ensure smoother, faster verification during onboarding

InfoNote: Data is fetched from Zenefits every 6 hours to initiate background verification.Overview:

Step 1: Generate an API Token in Zenefits
  1. In Zenefits, go to Company Profile under Admin Apps.
  2. Click on Custom Integrations.
  3. Navigate to REST API Access → click Add Token.
  4. Click the eye icon to reveal the API Token.

Copy the token and save it — you’ll need it to connect with SpringVerify.
Step 2: Connect Zenefits with SpringVerify IN
  1. Go to the SpringVerify IN Integrations page - https://portal.in.springverify.com/integrations
  2. Locate and open the Zenefits card.
  3. Click Connect.

  4. If you are a Zenefits Admin, enter your API key to complete the connection.

  5. If you are not a Zenefits Admin, send the authorization link to your admin.

  6. If your company has multiple subtypes, a modal will appear prompting you to select the appropriate subtype(s).

  7. Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation message: “Successfully connected.”
Deactivating the Integration

  • To disconnect Zenefits from SpringVerify, click Remove Connection.

  • The integration will be deactivated immediately.
