Social Media Check

Social Media Check

What is Social Media Check?

Social Media Check (SMC) evaluates a candidate's publicly available online presence to identify any content that could be inappropriate, controversial, or misaligned with your company's values. It is especially recommended for management employees, customer-facing roles, and brand ambassador positions.

Why should you conduct Social Media Check?

  • Screen candidates' online behaviour before they represent your brand
  • Identify red flags such as discriminatory content, professional misconduct, or controversial public statements
  • Protect your organisation's reputation and ensure cultural alignment
  • Prevent negative online histories from affecting company image

What does SpringVerify review?

  • Public social media profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter (X), and Instagram
  • Posts, comments, shares, and interactions — reviewed for red flags
  • Behavioral patterns and communication style across platforms

Documents / information required from the candidate

  • Social media profile links for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • All profiles must be set to public at the time of the check
