EngageWith's Nominee and Poll Awards feature makes it easy for employees to recognize their peers in a meaningful, team-driven way. This feature allows teammates to nominate up to three colleagues for an award and involves the organization in voting for the final winner—all within Slack. Here's everything you need to know about setting it up and using it effectively.
How to Set Up Nominee & Poll Awards
1. Sign in to EngageWith:
2. Log in to your EngageWith Dashboard and navigate to the Employee Awards section.
3. Scroll down to locate the Nominee and Award Polls feature.
4. Click Launch a Nominee Poll to get started
5. Choose an award from the pre-existing list or create a custom one to suit your team’s needs.
6. Decide who can nominate teammates for the award. Nominators can include team leads, managers, or even team members. Each nominator can select up to three colleagues as nominees.
7. Define who can vote for the nominees. This can be the entire organization, a specific channel, or a department.
8. Specify the award amount (if applicable) and finalize the announcement details, including the Slack channel where the award will be announced.
9. Once everything is configured, click Give Award to activate the poll.

Nomination Process:
Nominators will receive a Slack message prompting them to select their nominees. They can nominate up to three teammates directly in Slack.
Progress Tracking:
Once nominators submit their choices, the progress will be updated in your EngageWith Dashboard.
Voting Phase:
After nominations are complete, a poll is conducted in Slack, allowing eligible voters to cast their votes for the nominees.
Recognition Made Easy:
The final results are displayed in the dashboard, and the winner is announced in the selected Slack channel.
