What are the Restrictions to access the Mark Important feature?

Access Based on Subscription Type

Free Trial users:
  • Users during the free trial period can utilize the "Mark Important" shortcut without restrictions.

Paid users:
  1. Licensed and Unlicensed Admins:
    1. Both licensed and unlicensed admins can use the shortcut.
  2. Company Admins:
    1. Can add messages to both company and team wikis.
  3. Team Admins:
    1. Can add messages to the wikis of all teams they belong to but not to the company wiki.
  4. Non-Admins:
    1. Non-admins will receive a notification stating they cannot add messages to any wiki, and only admins have this privilege.
Wiki Access and Visibility

Modal Display for Wiki Access:
When using the "Mark Important" shortcut, a modal will show the names of wikis you have access to:
  1. No wiki.
  2. Company wiki + team wikis.
  3. Team wikis only.
Visibility Criteria:
  1. Company admins see all wikis (company and all team wikis).
  2. Team admins see wikis only for the teams they are an admin.
  3. Non-admins see no wikis and receive a modal prompting them to seek admin privileges.
Private Channel Usage:
  1. If the shortcut is used in a private channel where Albus is not a part of, a modal will guide you to invite Albus.
