How do I Set up Rewards and Recognition?

Here are the steps to set up Rewards & Recognition (R&R):
  1. Navigate to the EngageWith Dashboard.
  2. Click on the dropdown under Rewards from the left pane.
  3.  Click on Configuration.


  1. Under the Rewards Section, you can configure recognitions in two ways by setting up the points for each:
    1. Kudos: Appreciate the employee for anything you want.
    2. Shoutout: Appreciate the employee for reaching a milestone, always one step ahead in achieving, etc.
  • Check the box to set up the Approval process. It will allow your users to send out recognitions with their Manager's approval.


  1. Next, you can set the initial points balance.
    1. Note: This is the number of Points each user will get at the beginning of the month.
  2. If you wish to carry forward Points, you can place a checkmark to select.


  1. Enable Rewards: Attach a monetary value to recognitions. Empower employees to redeem their recognition points from our exhaustive vendor catalog.
  2. Points conversion rate: Set up a conversion rate for each point that can be redeemed by your teammates.
    1. E.g., If John sends a Kudos (10 Points) to Carol, as per the conversion rate of 1 Point = $2, Carol gets a total of $20 that he can redeem.

Give Points a unique name as per your preference, Or you can leave them as Points.



  1. Set up your Company Values
    1. Rewards >> Configuration >> Values.
  2. Values signify the core beliefs that your organization believes in.
  3. It is an excellent way of aligning recognition with company values. The values can get attached to the recognition while recognizing.
    1. Note: You can either use the default values provided or customize and add up to ten values that are specific to your company.
