What is Education Verification?

Employers can use education verification to verify a candidate's training, certifications, and academic history. That way, they'll be able to see any inconsistencies in the application and take appropriate action.

This verification examines the applicant's high school diplomas, vocational certifications, and college and graduates degrees. As a result, you will be aware of any candidate exaggerating their qualifications to get employed. Education verification helps you:

  • Hire qualified candidates
  • Identify false education credentials
  • Spot any informational discrepancies, red flags, or violations
  • Save resources and protect your organization against liability claims

An Education Verification verifies the following information:

  • Course enrollment: Verifies the candidate's academic qualifications at the university level.
  • Duration: Checks the time frame in which they finished the degree.
  • Major of degree: Examine the type or characteristics of the degree the candidate earned.
  • Graduation status: Whether or not the applicant has completed his or her education as claimed.
